Here are the printables I made to go with Teacher, neighbor, friend gifts.

 We Attached this to a 2 Liter bottle of Soda

 I attached this to a bottle of Foaming Hand Soap from Bath & Body Works

Here is a candy bar wrapper I made for the Hershey XL size bars. I hope this link works to the PDF I made with the back flipped upside down so you can just print it on your 8 1/2 x 11 page then trim it down ( trim 1 inch off the top pf the page then trim it close to the edge of the pictures), fold it around the candy bar and tape it shut.

Pray Pretzel Handouts

I'm helping with the Little Dude's primary class tomorrow and it is on prayer. So my handout is for a
small bag of pretzels for each kid with this poem I wrote. One for a boy and one for a girl-hope you enjoy!

I made this for my mom to give to a neighbor who was ill with paper plates, cups & plastic utensils.

I made these for a friend- and thought maybe someone else might like to have them, just right click and save.....the go for the gold is sized as a 2x4 so you can use a small cellophane bag that is 2" wide.

Ruffle Apron

This is an apron I made for a gift exchange for Christmas. I had searched and searched for a tutorial online for a ruffle apron. I saw lots of pictures but no pattern so I made one up and then taught it to my little group of sewing girls.

I thought I would try to share it as best as I can because it's pretty easy & inexpensive.

I figure I spent about $12-$15.

So this is what you need.

5- 6"wide x the width of the fabric (usually 45") long  *these are the ruffles

2- 20" wide x 12" long * this is for the top of the apron

1- 4" wide x 3" long *this is for the strap to hold the D-rings

1- 20" wide x 16" long *this is for the under skirt of the ruffles

2- D-Rings

1- spool of  1 1/2" wide x 9 feet ribbon

I surged the edges of the ruffles and skirt just because it's quick and easy but you can do

a folded hem on all sides (you don't have to do the top of the skirt though)

 Take the 2-20"x12" pieces for the top of the apron and trim off at an angle so that the
top is now 11" wide and at the bottom is still 20" wide

 that would be 5 1/2" from each corner then make it diagonal to the bottom corner and cut off

 Here is the 4x3 folded in half & sew down the long side (I'm not sure why I sewed one of the ends-you don't need to)

Then fold in in half length wise to hold the d rings.

 I cut part of the ribbon to 32"
to use as the neck strap and did a stay stitch to hold the ribbon & d-rings in the corners of on of the apron tops

 Then with right sides together and the ribbon and d-rings in between the  2 - tops sew a small seam around the sides and tops- flip right sides out and press.

 for the ruffles I just basted and the marked lines every 4" with a disappearing fabric ink pen.
I started at the bottom of the skirt and just sewed a ruffle as close to the bottom edge as I could

 Then I added each ruffle on the mark above ruffle I just did until I sewed my last ruffle matching it up with the top of the skirt.

 Then I place the right side of the top (making sure that the right side of the ribbon would face outward when I was done) and sewed one section of the top to the skirt

 then I took the back of the apron top and folded under the edge, pinned it and sewed it across.

 Last you take the rest of the ribbon ( I folded it half to find the middle of the length) and matched it up with the middle of the top. Then pin in place and sew around the top, bottom & sides of the ribbon to the top of the apron to make the waist band
