So the last few days I've been sewing! My friend Britt called me a few days ago and showed me this website with some seriously cute clothing and said, you can make that Heidi. And I saw that they were pretty simple in design it was more about the fabric choices to me. So I went to the quilt fabric store, because you are not going to find Moda fabric at Joanns and went to work. I made my own pattern and even though I was convinced I wanted to be a designer when I was in junior high I'm not so sure I would want to do it now. I hate it when it doesn't turn out perfect the first time...I know i need to get over the imperfections. I had planned for Goose to have the red one and Bug the pink but I like the red on Bug a lot so....they now have each others, which is find because they are about the same size they can switch if they want to.
While I was waiting to get my fabric cut the lady in front of me had the dang cutest fabric. I kept thinking about it even after I went home. A few days later I took Bear for his 3 year check up and it is just around the corner from the fabric store so I had to stop and get it and make a baby blanket for some one. I freaking LOVE this giraffe pinky don't you!? Oh yeah And Bear is moving up in the charts....13.3% in height and 5.5% in weight Yeah!
Ignore the quality of the photos of the girls, I wasn't worried about doing them cute since Britt is taking their Pics for my Birthday present..She rocks!
