So Goose came to me a few months ago and said she wanted to do angry birds for her 12th birthday party after seeing this website (look on her right side bar and you will find any theme party ideas you could ever think of and then some)

So this is my attempt at it ( we had to move it to the church gym because of the torrential downpour that decided to arrive right at party time)
So my cake did not like me at all, it was falling apart and the cake ball angry birds and pigs, was almost an epic failure. I forgot you have to add oil to the melting chocolates, the chocolate cake mix was literally melting as we tried to coat it in the chocolate melts, and then the chocolate wouldn't set, so I stuck it in the freezer for over an hour just to walk away from it, and it helped.
I found these gift boxes at walmart in a pack of 4 for $1.50 and came home and cut out a mouth, tummy and eyebrows, and used a 1/4 inch punch for the eyes.
Here is Grammy taping up an endless supply boxed we got for free from misc. stores
So that Uncle Rob could make a live size angry bird set up
we should have had him stay there for the girls to aim at!
They made their own angry bird cookies
Here is there arsenal, (you can get direction for these at the website mentioned above)
I found these ball at walmart back in Aug. the small ones were $1 and the large was $2.50
If you want to make these give yourself sometime, I did 4 balls at a time and it took all day to do all four because of the drying time required in between steps.
My sad little pinata, I tried doing a balloon but it kept popping so I got a large plastic ball from the dollar store and used it as the base (it is perfectly round)
Goose was so happy to have her grammy & poppy here to help celebrate!
We LOVE our Crazy Goose!
