No room at the Inn

Tonight we took a journey to Bethlehem (around our neighborhood). I had called some of our neighbors and asked them that when we came over and asked if we could come in from the cold to tell us no that they had no room for us. At last I asked a neighbor with a shed to tell us they had no room but we could go out to their shed if we wanted to. Once in there by a flashlight I read the Christmas story and told the kids how important it is for us to make sure there is always room for Jesus in our home and our lives. Then we came home and made an Inn that had room for Mary and Joseph ( a gingerbread house). It was great for us and all our sweet neighbors who didn't want to tell us no. We sang Picture a Christmas for our opening hymn and Stars were gleaming for our closing.

Snow Day

We had tons of fun building a snowman but Bear just wanted to sled so the girls we happy to help with that.

This is my little neighbor Avery who I just made a blessing dress for, I had fun but was nervous (as always because I do this for fun not as a professional) to take these pics cause she was in a pinch and needed some pics quick....I hope Dawn likes them.

Bug got a new haircut

So when it comes to hair I try and let Bug do what she wants because after all it is only Hair and it will grow back. She saw Selena Gomez and her new hair (Wizards of Waverly Place) and that was it she wanted to cut her's off to. I think I like it better longer but she is so cute it doesn't matter.

I think Bear has a little bit of mom in him

I know that Bear does not look like me completely, but I have always thought he didn't look like either Mark or I. So when I found this picture I thought huh maybe he does have some mommy in him. This picture is during one of the times the girls and our neighbors tortured Bear by playing dress up with him.

Annie at Tuacahn

If you find yourself in St. George I encourage you to go Tuacahn and see one of their shows. It was the highlight of trip. Bug especially loved it, we all know the drama queen in her be a perfect fit for doing something like this. Even Bear loved the pyrotechnics and stage changes.

Quick trip before school starts..

Our neighbors were so awesome to invite to St. George for a girls get a way before school started and we had so much fun. I wanted to take some pictures down there against all the red rock. They have these great water features in their parks and I thought it was a perfect background. Everyday day was spent at the pool.

Turing 2 and a potty training disaster

Bear had shown some interest in using the Potty so I bought him this super cute seat to help him since he is still so small. Well we all thought it was funny when we opened the package and he put it on like a crown, but then Bug thought she would be funny and pressed it down over his head and well it got stuck. Nothing we did was helping, in fact the more we tried the more stuck it got (by giving him a huge goose egg on his head). So Mark got out his trusy pruning shears and cut it off. ( sorry about the one bad photo looks like bear was messing with the settings on my camera again)

Boating

I am finally getting around to posting a month's worth of fun, here are some highlights of going boating with Uncle Scott, Aunt Shemmy and the BOYS...I love this picture cause Goose just was loving every second of this...(this was her favorite part when Jake flew off...)
