Movielicoius

After months of consideration, a B-day theme was chosen.....and while I thought that this year, this theme, is going to be cheaper and easier than others in the past.....I'm sure it wasn't.  I do believe despite all my best intentions of trying to make things easier I keep thinking of things I want to do for the party, and well that usually means more time and money. Let me clarify that by cheaper I mean Free, really I do the cakes and invites and games  myself so I shouldn't complain. But here are the results of all the thinking and hard work.

I found this and printed it on cardstock and layered with yellow than gray and added a ribbon...so easy! in case you are going to do a movie night here is where I found the printable.

I called the local theater and they gave the posters for free....yeah, we like free!
Made the banner from using my neighbor's cricket.

Here is where I had to spend money...candy from walmart. Before the movie started I had them tell me what they wanted and put some in a little bag to take outside with them.
I found the popcorn boxes at the Target dollar spot a month ago and picked them up and then the movie theater candy is $1 at Walmart.

I made homemade caramel popcorn, really yummy but super fatening.

Blankets...check
Candy......check
Popcorn...check
Friends (and little bro)....check and check

Let the movie begin. Can I just tell you I really like the perks of my hubby's work like access to a projector and screen.

So darn cute and fun. Love the idea. Mine would not be done so nicely if I did that. (Maybe it's because boys don't really care???)
Scott watched movies for his b-day with his first sleep over and two friends. They were in the unfinished basement of the duplex we rented. They threw candy at each other and it was everywhere. Sigh. Boys. Will be boys, I suppose.
Didn't I just come to Goose's baptism? She's 11, really?
Awesome party goods and invites!
