My calling is Activity Days, I have been in this calling for 3 years and sometimes it is hard to come up with new activities. I was on Sugardoodle and saw a thing on Laundry and thought that might be something I could work with. I used their worksheet and googled make your own cross word puzzle and made a puzzle with hints about Laundry like "Use this only on whites" Bleach "Make sure to clean this stuff out of the dryer" Lint and had them run a relay race of sorting and fold clothing.
I saw the idea to make a potpourri pouch and got out some left over tulle from one the many many poofy dresses I have made and cut 8x8 square (next time I would do 10") and cut ribbon and let the girls make them.
And a little treat/gift (cause I find too much sugar with those girls means trouble) and made this candy bar wrapper (if you want me to email this to you let me know) and printed it on reg copy paper and wrapped it around a reg size hersey bar and glued it together.
Then I remembered one of the girls had a baptism and at 6am this morning looked through some left over beads from different projects and made a bracelet for her then trying to find a poem to go with it and not seeing anything just right I made my own and put it on a cute card and punched some circle holes in the card and attatched the bracelet. Sometime I feel guilty for wanting to try every crafty thing I see but then when I can put together something in a jiffy I am grateful the Lord made me like to craft so much. (If you want me to email you the file of the poem card let me know..I printed it on cardstock)
